Job Description
Idaho Plumbing Heating & Air is actively looking to hire an HVAC LEAD INSTALLER with the
following qualifications:
1. Current State of Idaho HVAC Journeyman or Apprentice Card
2. EPA Universal Certification (Section 608)
3. 4 years of HVAC install experience
4. Capable of measuring, specifying, drawing, and fabricating 26GA sheet metal transitions
in the shop or the field including offsets in two directions, reducers, and elbows with
turning veins
5. Complete understanding of superheat, subcool, TXV, EEV, and charge adjustments for
multiple refrigerants
6. Ability to braze copper, recover, evacuate, Nitrogen purge and adjust refrigerant charge
7. Complete understanding of 24V system wiring for AC, heat pumps, and multi-zone
systems
8. Experience with inverter driven equipment and communicating low voltage wiring
9. Capable of converting natural gas appliances to LP
10. Capable of troubleshooting problems in the field and recommending possible solutions to customer
11. Ability to communicate with customers in a manner that inspires confidence and displays
professionalism
12. Applicant must own the following tools:
a. All basic hand and cordless tools required
b. Refrigerant gauges
c. Nitrogen regulator
d. Multimeter with MFD capability
